I’m Right! No I’m Right!

Tips for a Happy Marriage! When we marry, we hope for happily ever after. However, we do not marry ourselves. We marry someone who grew up in a uniquely different family system shaped by different experiences and beliefs. When we learn to communicate our ideas, our needs, and feelings in a healthy productive manner; when we learn to really “listen” to our partner; when we give up being “right” and replace that with compromise and acceptance, then the real honeymoon can begin!

Tips to Reduce Negativity

  1. Tomorrow, think of one thing that you can do to make your partner happy.
  2. Take turns planning a date night.
