Do You Ever Feel Like You’re A Chicken Running Around With Its Head Cut Off?

relaxation, walk, nap, exercise, make time for you. mom, parent, partner, family

Is this you?-

If this is you then it’s time to slow down and think about your daily routines. Yes, we all have responsibilities; work, partners, children, parents, school, etc. Did you know you have a choice? You can either run with the craziness from one task to another or you can take care of your responsibilities but make sure you carve out time for yourself. You need to recharge your batteries if you want to be effective and healthy. Keeping up that adrenaline rush will take its toll physiologically. Instead of running through your day try walking. Take ten minutes to shut down and be still and quiet, even if it’s in the car waiting for your child to come out of school. Those 10 minutes will be very healing and centering. Check in with yourself. Ask, how are you doing? Is there something you need? Can you give it to yourself?

I know we live in a fast paced society but realize that you do have some choices. While you’re running around taking care of everyone else, make time for you. You deserve it. Get a massage, take a bath, see a girlfriend, take a walk in nature; find yourself. You are your own best friend…

Need help managing you routines. Want to learn how to relax?
