Healthy communication in your relationships Is the key to happiness .

Most couples are very busy taking care of responsibilities, interests, self-care, extended family, and probably children at some point.

With all that, how are you supposed to carve out time for quality connection with your partner?

1. Well, that’s exactly what you do. Carve out time and mark it on your calendar as any other appointment you would keep.

2. Once a week spend time engaging in “mindful touch”, cuddling or have sex.

3. Carve out a day when you can both spend some time talking about the successes and obstacles from the prior week and then address them with “mindful communication” to solve the issue going forward.

4. Carve out time to discuss your outside stresses to protect your relationship from being impeded upon.

If this sounds like mumbo jumbo, words like “mindful touch” and “mindful communication”, perhaps your relationship would benefit from some new skills, especially effective communication. That’s the place to start…
