Too Much of a Good Thing? 10 Slippery Slopes, Marriage and Family Therapy, Glendora, CA

Have you lost your balance?

Have you lost your balance?

Too much of even a good thing can be bad for you. Or rather, anything in moderation is fine! We tend to over do things. Many people have an addictive personality and that makes moderation difficult. Here are 10 things people tend to over do:

1. Eating

2. Drinking

3. Partying

4. Smoking

5. Exercising

6. TV watching

7. Using Facebook

8. Using Twitter

9. Using the computer

10. Texting

Do you see yours on the list? Perhaps you’d like to add your own activity that’s gone out of balance? Please leave a comment…

Not one of the activities I stated above are bad for you in itself. It’s when you over do and lose your balance. Many people are born with an addictive gene. In therapy, you will gain an understanding of your feelings, thoughts and behaviors and learn to keep and moderate and/or replace overdone habits with more healthy options.
