We have all been given many messages in childhood from our significant caretakers. Some of the messages were positive and others not so much. Unfortunately, we take in this negativity and it makes us feel like we’re “not good enough”.

Often during the schools years we are teased and judged and often we take these hurtful comments and it becomes what we believe  about ourselves.

Societies message are full of “should”s and it can make us feel like we don’t measure up.

4 Things To Do To Improve Your Self-Esteem

1. Write down all your positive traits and successes.

2. Be genuine with people and speak your truth.

3. Take on some new challenges.

4. Review those negative messages in your head and decide if they are true. If not, take Taylor Swift’s advice and Shake It Off!
